		<description>Thanks for the kind words about Janet&#039;s site - it&#039;s a work in progress... :)

Blogging software - esepecially WordPress - is fantastic for educators because it usually requires so little technical knowledge that teachers (or designated room parents) can do the maintenance without having to find a developer to continually update a site.

WordPress allows you to make your front page static, so it can even behave as a Web site (lots of people still cannot get over the word blog) - but I&#039;m starting to call them mini- sites - because they are!

Barbara - when we were putting together the Palo Verde Web site - I came across your list of resources and thought - WOW - what a fantastic effort!  You&#039;ll need to bring them over to the blogosphere so we can all enjoy them ;)
